Louise Melton, 83, of Florence died Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Mitchell-Hollingsworth. Visitation will be Monday, April 16, 2012, from 6-8PM at Elkins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012, 2PM at Hendrix Chapel, with Bro. Wayne Woods officiating. Burial will be at Hendrix Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Melton was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Melton; two sons Frankie and Pee Wee Melton; two grandsons Johnny Leroy Melton and Joseph Wayne Jones; five sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her three daughters Laura Lay and Steve McDougal, Ethel and Lester Guy, and Nancy and Paul Busby; son Jody and Lisa Melton; sister Henrietta Isbell; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
