Luez Parker Faulkner passed away Friday, November 7, 2014, at her residence in Florence at the age of 95. She was a native of Lauderdale County and Longtime member of Highland Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents James Jasper Parker and Alma Parnell Parker; three brothers and two sisters; grandson David Blair Faulkner.

She is survived by her husband of almost 69 years, Jesse James Faulkner; son, James David Faulkner (Judy); daughter Fidelis Harper (Glenn); grandchildren, Paige Herold, Patrick Harper (Kendra), and Amy Harper; great-grandchildren, Drew Herold, Haley Herold, Davis Faulkner, and Campbell Faulkner.

Visitation will be Monday, November 10, 2014, from 12-2 PM with services to follow in the Chapel at Elkins Funeral Home, Florence with Dr. John Brock and Rev. Chris Underwood officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be David Faulkner, Glenn Harper, Patrick Harper, Drew Herold, Jerry Walker, and Matthew Faulkner.

The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Mann; special caregivers; Brenda Williamson, Marie Ghrigsby, Shonie Pearson, Glenda Welborn, staff of Amedisys Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Highland Baptist Church Mission Fund.

We will miss our "Granny" but know she is at rest now.
