Funeral for Lula Mae West, 90, of Decatur will be Saturday, July 21, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Foreman officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. West, who died Thursday, July 19, 2007, at her residence, was born Nov. 12, 1916, in Lawrence County. She was a member of Deer Springs Baptist Church for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Emmett West; and her son, James L. West. Survivors include three sons, Larry West, Ernest West and L.E. West, all of Decatur; four daughters, Mary F. Holt, Willodean Campbell, Ruth Davis and Nadean Reid, all of Decatur; one sister, Ivadean Parham of Morgan City; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Keith Reid, Justin Busby, Brad West, Chris Wimberley, Brian West and Chris Tuttle.
