Funeral service for Lynda L. Dover, 68 of Decatur will be Saturday April 8, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Smith and Dr. Steve Chandler officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dover who died April 3, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital was born on Sept. 9, 1948 in Biloxi, MS to Hugh Lee Lauderdale and Carlene Bailey Lauderdale.

She lived in Pascagoula, MS until the family moved to Decatur in 1979. Lynda was a member of the Beltline Church of Christ for 38 years. She worked as an instructional aide for Decatur High School for over 21 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly McReath; son-in-law, Brian McReath; and two grandsons, Easton and Drew.
