Maddline Morgan Hamby Moulton
Funeral for Maddline Morgan Hamby will be Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with the Rev. Oscar Ray Gray officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Aldridge Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Hamby, who died Saturday, October 16, 2010, at NHC in Moulton, was born August 18, 1933, to Charlie Lanier Morgan and Amanda Pearl Rainey Morgan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Slim" Hamby; her parents; two sisters, Maybell Morgan and Eureatha Morgan Tanksley; and two brothers, Kenneth Morgan and George Lee Morgan. She enjoyed reading, flower and vegetable gardening, church, gospel and country music and taking care of her home and family.
Mrs. Hamby is survived by one daughter, Wanda Hamby Sivley and her husband, Tim, of Trinity; one son, Edward "Eddie" Hamby and his wife, Jeanne, of Elkmont; three sisters, Jewel Dean Hamby and Juanita Dunn, both of Moulton, and Marie McDonald of Jasper; two grandchildren, April Sivley and Joseph Sivley; and two great-grandchildren, Logan Sivley and Morrigan Sivley.
