Mae Belle Clemmons, 90, of Killen died Friday, October 24, 2014, at her residence.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 26, 2014, at Elkins East Chapel from 2-4 PM. Funeral services will be Monday, October 27, 2014, 11 AM at First Baptist Church in Killen with Bro. David McKelvey officiating. Burial will follow in the Killen Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. Clemmons was a lifelong and founding member of First Baptist Church in Killen. She enjoyed traveling and seeing new places and listening to Gospel Music.
Mrs. Clemmons was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Clemmons, Sr., two sons, John H. Clemmons, Jr., and Larry James Clemmons; parents, Henry and Annie Patterson; sisters, Alice, Martha, Margaret, and Estelle; brothers, Cecil, Paul, George, and Giles.
She is survived by her daughter, Joy Howard (David); two grandchildren, Anita Reaves (Leslie) and Robyn Howard (Beth); sister, Hattie Patterson; brothers, Clyde Patterson and Lee Mark Patterson; sisters in law, Dorothy Simpson and Eunice Hipps.
Pallbearers will be Hobie Butler, Terry Carpenter, Dave Hardin, and Roger Moody.
