Mae Springer (Herston) Springer's Obituary
Mae H. Springer, 97, of Rogersville died Monday, October 27, 2014, at her daughter''s residence.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Elkins East Chapel from 12-2 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the Chapel with Bro. Terry Herston officiating. Burial will be at Harvey Cemetery.
Mrs. Springer was a member of Old Mt. Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Springer was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Otis Springer; grandson, Michael Springer; granddaughter, Gina Springer; daughter-in-law, Linda Springer; two brothers, Earl and Roy Herston; sister, Clayton Springer.
Mrs. Springer is survived by her daughter, Martha Springer (Dewayne); son, Dave Springer; two grandchildren, Beverly Davis (James) and Ada Frances Butler; four great-grandchildren, Heather Hollimon (Matt), Gina Brown (Jason), Jesse Butler, and Lilly Butler; one great-great-grandson, Jacob Brown; many special nieces and nephews; her beloved dog, Tosha.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
Special thanks to her caregivers from Gentiva Hospice and Dr. William Heaton and his staff.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Old Mt. Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church or a charity of your choice.
