Marcella Ruth Burney (Copeland)'s Obituary
Funeral for Marcella Burney, will be Friday, April 5, 2013 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church, Town Creek with Bro Rickey Gilley officiating and Elliott Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be at Providence cemetery..
Visitation will be Thursday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM First Baptist Church Town Creek.
Mrs. Burney, who died Tuesday April 2, 2103, was born on April 14, 1930 in Lauderdale County to Oscar C. Copeland and Ruth Hope Stanley Copeland.
She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Town Creek. She was an accomplished artist, kind hearted and always willing to help those in the community. She was also an accomplished horse trainer and shower. She was preceded in death by one son, Clifford Burney.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, A. R. Burney; two sons, Steve Burney and wife Beckey and Philip Burney and wife Joan ; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; three step grandchildren ; two nieces and five nephews
