Margaret Grace Daugherty's Obituary
Margaret Daugherty passed from this life April 12, 2014 at the age of 87 after a brief illness.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 15, 2014, from 12-1:30 PM at Elkins Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 PM in the chapel with Bro. Randy Baker and Bro. Bill Bagents officiating. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Park.
Miss Daugherty was retired from the Florence Clinic after 38 years. She enjoyed traveling and volunteer work after retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents Willie C. and Margaret Swinea Daugherty; one brother Willie L. Daugherty; two sisters Helen Wallace and Katherine Braspennix.
She is survived by Edith Broadfoot (Bob); three nephews Bill, Neal, and Donald Daugherty; one niece Alice Barton.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heritage Christian University or Mars Hill Church of Christ mission funds.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Lyman Mithchell, Dr. Patricia Auxier, Keestone Assisted Living, and Gentiva Hospice for all their love and care.
