Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Whitley, 79, of Springfield, Tennessee passed away there Monday, February 2, 2009.
The family will receive friends at Elkins Funeral Home, Wednesday from 10:00-11:30 a.m. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Chris Underwood will officiate.
Mrs. Whitley was born in Robertson County, Tennessee and was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Hazel Rainwater Stewart, husband R.W. Whitley, daughter Marsha Jo Whitley Hargett, brother Billy Stewart and sister Mabel Stewart. She was a member of the Highland Baptist Church, Florence.
She is survived by a brother Charles Stewart and wife Margaret Ann, Adairsville, KY, and a sister Shirley Johnson and husband Dan, Orlinda, TN.
