Maridon Eloise Davis, 84, of Florence passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Glenwood Center. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday at Elkins Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Charles Kretzer officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.

Born on August 14, 1930 to the late Willie J. and Cora Lee Thigpen, Eloise was a member of the East Wood Church of Christ.

Survivors include her sister, Mary E. "Tillie" Sandlin; brothers, Cecil and Willie Thigpen; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Ellis Davis; sister, Edna Pollard; brothers, J.R. Thigpen and James Elmer Thigpen.

Pallbearers will be James Hall, Charles Owens, Mark Sandlin, David Sandlin, and William Huggins.
