Marie Olive Tank, 81, of Killen, passed peacefully from this life to her eternal home in Heaven on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 22, 2026, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Killen Church of Christ. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Killen Church of Christ with Bro. Stan Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Killen Cemetery. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.

Marie was a faithful member of Killen Church of Christ, where she lovingly taught children’s classes for many years. She retired from WC Handy Handicap School, where she worked as a teacher’s aide and bus driver.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Olive; mother, Ruby Wallace Olive Jones; stepfather, Otis Jones; sister, Betty Gifford; and brother, Reed Olive.

She is survived by the love of her life, Earl Tank; her beloved sons, Chris Tank (Dana) and Brad Tank (Sarah); grandchildren, Blake, Ryan, and Bailey Tank, Braden Tank (Brooke), Bethany Tank Robbins (Cory), Olivia Tank, and Liz and Sayler Robertson; great-grandchildren, Arabella, Rhyder, Josie, Laylanni, Legend, and Jase; sisters, Jane Odem, Frances Lowery, and Brenda Michael (Delbert); as well as several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Blake, Ryan, Bailey, Braden Tank, Cory Robbins, and Drew Keeton.
