Decatur Mario Perez, 57, of Decatur, died Sunday, October 11, 2015. Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Joe Holmes and Rev. Eddie Jones will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mario was born August 15, 1958 in Mexico City, Mexico, to Nazario Perez and Rosario Rodriguez. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a very hard worker and he was a good friend to everyone. Mario was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Carmen Torres; two sons, Mario Perez Jr. and his fiancee', Karina Mayo, and Carlos Perez and his wife, Fabiola Rodriguez; one daughter, Laura Perez and four loving grand- daughters.
