Marion "Hansford" Wilson age 90 of Florence passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from Noon till 2:00 p.m. at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev William Brewer and Reggie Bruce officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ed and Gladys Wilson and a grandson Timothy Ray Brewer.

Hansford is survived by his wife of 70 years Fleda Taylor. One daughter, Alicia Wilson Brewer (Bobby) of Florence. Two sons, Stanley Wilson of Lawrenceburg, TN and Larry Wilson of Loretto, TN. One sister Peggy Ann Miller of Huntsville, AL. One brother Sanford Wilson (Mary) of Muscle Shoals, AL. Three grandchildren, Jeff Wayne Brewer (Michelle) of Florence, Kerrie Jollie (Bob) of Conyers, GA and Sherri Hart (Jeremy) of Florence. And eight great Grandchildren.

Mr. Wilson served our nation in the United States Navy during World War II. He is a member at Woodmont Baptist Church and a past Deacon. And he retired as a self employed saleman.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
