Marjorie Lee Ledbetter
Decatur
Marjorie Lee Ledbetter, 92, died July 10, 2007. A resident of Decatur, she resided at Cedar Springs Senior Adult Living Center. Marjorie loved life and enjoyed playing cards with her friends. She loved sharing her naturally delightful and charming personality with others. She was baptized as an infant at Decatur First United Methodist Church where she remained a member all of her life. She was grateful for the ministry of Hospice of the Valley and her volunteer, Mrs. Ruth Shelton, and also appreciated and loved the pastors, church members and Congregational Care Team of the First United Methodist Church of Decatur. Marjorie is survived by one son, Larry, of Cape Coral, Fla., her faithful caretaker, Donna Kelly and some cousins and nieces. It was Marjorie's wish that her body be cremated. An interment of the ashes will be held at the graveside Saturday at 11 a.m. in Decatur City Cemetery. Dr. Terry L. Greer and the Rev. J. Charles Boling will officiate. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Ledbetter's memory to the First United Methodist Church of Decatur or Hospice of the Valley. Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home of Decatur has been entrusted with the services for Mrs. Ledbetter.
