Funeral for Marjorie Louise Lowery, 93, of Decatur will be Monday, August 18, 2014, at 3 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Dr. Johnny Padalino, Dr. Ben Hayes and Reverend David W. Lowery officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Lowery died Friday, August 15, 2014. She was born August 8, 1921, in Morgan County to John L. and Josephine Nelson Davis. She was a member of Moulton Heights Baptist Church, Highland Avenue Baptist Church, Forest Park Baptist Church, Westmead Baptist Church, Fifth Avenue Baptist Church and Southside Baptist Church. Mrs. Lowery was manager of the Alabama State Employees Credit Union. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Leldon Lowery; her parents; brother, Billie Davis (Mary).

Survivors include her son, David W. Lowery (Joy); granddaughter, Melissa Padalino (Johnny); grandson, John Mark Lowery (Dara); four great-grandchildren, David Padelino, Michael Padelino, Cameron Lowery and Marissa Lowery; and brother, John Charles Davis (Doris).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideons International or Southside Baptist Church.
