Funeral for Martha Melinda Randolph Jordan, 89, of Decatur will be Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Josh Head officiating. Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Mrs. Jordan, who died Saturday, March 29, 2008, at her daughter's residence, was born Jan. 30, 1919, in Lawrence County to Levi and Sara Randolph. She was a former member of Wheeler Baptist Church. Her husband, Joseph June Jordan, preceded her in death. Survivors include six sons, Willard Jordan, Jimmy Ray Jordan, Joseph William Jordan, C.H. Jordan, Harvey Jordan and Samuel Jordan; two daughters, Wylodean Terry and Sandra Giallombardo; 22 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ricky Terry, Damine Jordan, Sam Jordan, Darrel Murphy, Jimmy Ray Jordan Jr. and B.J. Brady.
