Funeral for Martha June Franklin Pittman, 80, of Decatur, will be Thursday September 24, 2015 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran church with Pastor Eddie Scheler officiating and Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hasting Cemetery, Ardmore, AL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Pittman who died Tuesday September 22, 2015, was born September 30, 1934, in Limestone County to Everett Franklin and Mae Franklin. She was retired from Bell South Communications. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Decatur. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Pittman; one son, Jeff Pittman (Leesa); one daughter, Jeanine Compton; one brother, David Franklin (Sunnye); six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Decatur.
