Martha Pugh Stephens, 74, of Florence, formerly of Birmingham, died Tuesday, Aug. 29.
Mrs. Stephens was a native of Winston County and a graduate of Coffee High School in Florence and the University of North Alabama in 1967. She was the daughter of the late A.L. and Audra Pugh.
Mrs. Stephens survivors include her cat, Cinnamon, the ruler of the household for the past 16 years; her husband, Glenn A. Stephens of Florence; daughters Dawn Mardis of Montevallo, Kimberly Holt of Birmingham and Anna Stephens of Madison; and brothers Al Pugh (Wanda) of Hampton, Ga; and Gwyn Pugh (Rebecca) of Drummonds, Tenn.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Elkins Funeral Home, Florence, followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
