Martha Elizabeth Stuart
Decatur Martha Elizabeth Stuart, 76, of Decatur, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 5, 2017, in her home.
Mrs. Stuart was born to Floyd and Cornelia McCann on Sept. 29, 1940, in Decatur, Alabama. Mrs. Stuart was a devoted wife of 58 years to Carl William "Bill" Stuart. She is survived by her four children, Bill Stuart, Debbie Bradford, Todd Stuart and Tina Goss; eight grandchildren, Clay Bradford, Caitlin Chandler, Dalton Goss, Amber Goss, Megan Goss, Adam Stuart, Jackson Stuart and Magan Stuart; one great-grandchild, Noah Bradford; and one brother, Sonny McCann.
Visitation will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, Friday, July 14, 2017, from 4 to 6 p.m. A celebration of life service will follow starting at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children''s Hospital.
