Marty Joe "Tinker" Gibson, age 53 of Rogersville passed away July 7, 2011. Visitation will be Saturday July 9, 2011 at Elkins East Chapel in Center Star from 6 till 9pm. Services will be Sunday at Elkins East Chapel at 2:00pm with Larry Burbank officiating. Burial will at Hurricane Cemetery in Rogersville. Mr. Gibson is survived by his loving parents, Ollis U. and Jimmie Ruth Gibson; three aunts Betty Graves (John) of Killen, Carolyn Collins (Carlos) of Florence, and Francis Garner of Rogersville; three uncles Bobby Gibson of Huntsville, John Gibson (Linda) of Huntsville, and Bobby Burney of Florence; numerous cousins.
