Marvin Lee Meek, 72, of Florence died Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Vanderbilt Hospital.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Elkins Funeral Home from 11 AM to 1 PM.  Funeral services will follow at 1 PM in the chapel with Bro. Stan Dean officiating.  Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Meek was retired from TVA Browns Ferry.  He was a member of the Killen Church of Christ.  He was very active with Hope Haven and was a board member for Arc of the Shoals.  He was very active in anything that his grandchildren were involved in. He loved camping and most of all he loved reading the Bible.

Mr. Meek was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda H. Meek; parents, Neval and Sallie Meek.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Meek; children, Laura Wisdom, Craig Meek, and Keith Meek (Bridgett); step-son, Greg Myers; grandchildren, Whitney, Wesley, Walker Wisdom, and Hunter, Houston, Holden Meek; sister, Martha Gray (Dewey); nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Wisdom, Walker Wisdom, Hunter Meek, Houston Meek, Holden Meek, and Will Gray.

Memorials can be made to Arc of the Shoals or to Pulmonary Fibrosis Research at Vanderbilt Medical Center
