Mary Louise Beachum, 92, of Florence died Saturday, February 10, 2018, at her residence.

Visitation will be Friday, February 16, 2018, 5-8 PM at Elkins Funeral Home.  She will lie-in-state from 12-1 PM Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Greater St. Paul AME Church, funeral services will follow at 1 PM with Pastor Christopher Reeves officiating.  Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Beachum is survived by her daughters, Shere Beachum, Ivory Orine Kennebrew, Pearlene Johnson (John), and Mary Catherine Mack; sisters, Nella Jackson, Flora Arnett, and Lillie Strong; brothers, James Brewer, Samuel Brewer, Moses Brewer, and William Brewer; 17 Grandchildren; and a host of Great-Grandchildren.

Mrs. Beachum was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Beachum; three sons, Oliver Eugene Beachum, Florida Lee Beachum, and Chester Beachum, Jr.; daughter, Ruthie Gail Brown; parents, James and Ivory Brewer.
