Mrs. Mary "Kathy" Bonds, age 68 of Decatur, passed away on May 27, 2025. She was devout Catholic and an avid gardener who had a strong personality. She loved to garden and enjoyed the occasional chocolate.

Mrs. Bonds is survived by her children, Sarah Hart, Matt Bonds, Jillian Stone, and Andrew Bonds; twelve grandchildren; siblings, Julie Carpenter, Krissy Drinkall, Jennifer Lartigue, Suzanne Cooley, and Steven Piper; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Elizabeth Piper; and siblings, Michael and James Piper.
