Mrs. Mary Frances Bowlin, 69, of Florence passed away Friday, April 17, 2009. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and sister.
Graveside service will be Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Florence City Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Bart Bowlin. The family will receive friends from 1:30- 2:30 p.m. at the Elkins Funeral Home.
She is preceded in death by her parents Homer Clyde Cole and Mary Sanderson Cole, sister Dorotha Fisher.
Mary is survived by her former husband Bob Bowlin, daughter Jill Bowlin, Tuscumbia, AL: sons Steve Bowlin ( Melissa), Murfreesboro, TN: Greg Bowlin ( Beverly) ,Killen, AL. sisters Bettie Welch, Florence, AL. and Sylvia Hargrove, Madison, AL. brother Glenn Cole, Trussville, AL.grandchildren Blake Bowlin, Eric Bowlin, Rebecca Bowlin, Larissa Bowlin, Kayla Bowlin, Leslie Bowlin and John Hulbert. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Mark Sharp, Eric Bowlin, Blake Bowlin, Jim Fisher, Sammy Hale, Tommy Hale and Eddie Messer.
The family would like a special thanks to Glenwood and CCU at ECM Hospital.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hearts Cry Ministries, Killen, AL.
