Mrs. Mary Edna Carter,88, of Florence, passed away Monday, May 18,2009.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, May 20,2009 at 12:30 p.m. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Stan Dean. Visitation will be from 11:00 -12:00 p.m. at Elkins Funeral Home.
Edna is preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, James Elmer Carter, and a daughter Shirley Carter Lemay.
Edna is survived by her daughter Jo Anne Eubanks and husband Dan. brother Thomas Boyd. Grandchildren, Anna Eubanks Barber and husband Brad and Dana Eubanks Welty and husband George. Keith and Jeri Lemay, Beth Lemay and Holly Lemay, great-grandchildren Grace, Austin, Marian Barber and Brendan Welty and numerous nieces and nephews.
