Mary Elizabeth Castle, 59, of Florence passed away on Friday, July 4, 2014 at her home. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Elkins Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Ralton McCarley officiating.

Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Gibson; grandchildren, Michael Bresett, Jr., Nathan Bresett and Jeremy Bresett; great-grandchild, Taylor Bresett; sister, Tracy Austin; brother, Eric Griffin; step-mom, Patty Castle; niece, Beth Magoon; nephews, Joe and Taylor Magoon; and her dog, Max.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawerence Castle and Erelene Knox-Griffin; sister, Sherri Wagner; and brothers, Donny and Jerry Castle.

My mom was a beautiful, loving and caring person. She was much more than just a mother and grandmother. She was an amazing friend. She was my best friend. She is loved by all who had the honor of knowing her and she will be greatly missed but NEVER FORGOTTEN. I love you mom.
