Mary Alice Gautney's Obituary
Mary Alice Gautney, 60, of Florence died Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at Mitchell-Hollingsworth.
Visitation will be Friday, January 15, 2016, from 6-8 PM at Elkins Funeral Home, Florence. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 16, 2016, at 1 PM at Elkins Funeral Home, Florence. Burial will be at Barkley-White Cemetery.
Miss Gautney loved square dancing, going to "Dollywood", bowling, going to the Y.M.C.A., and being a part of the Special Olympics.
Miss Gautney was preceded in death by her parents, Benny and Lucy Gautney; brothers, James and Jabo Gautney.
Miss Gautney is survived by her sisters, Bobby Cambell, Ann Symonds, Christine Hooper, Lois Sharp, Patricia Woods, and Gail Parrish.
Pallbearers will be James Barga, Jerry Barga, Gilbert Barga, Tim Woods, DeAnthony Barga, Brandon Woods, Tim Irons, and Kevin Yates.
Special thanks to Dr. Longmire and staff, Dr. Boorgu and staff, ECM Hospital and 6th floor staff, Dr. Morris and staff, Mitchell-Hollingsworth and station 5 staff, ARC of the Shoals and staff, and most of all Monica Shannon.
