Funeral for Mary Shull Patrick, 99, of Decatur will be Friday, Aug. 21, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Lowery officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Patrick, who died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009, at Hartselle Medical Center, was born Oct. 26, 1909, in Morgan County to George W. Shull and Sarah Jane Lawrence Shull. She was a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church. Her husband, Dan L. Patrick; and stepson, Kenneth L. Patrick, preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Frances P. Chandler and husband William B., and Carolyn P. Styles and husband Wallace; sister Betsy Gardner; nine grandchildren, Karen Vinson and husband Jimmy, William B. Chandler Jr. and wife Lesli, Steven Smith and wife Martha, Stan Smith and wife Sandra, Gary Smith and wife Kelley, Mike Smith, Jeff Smith and wife Melissa, Kathy Patrick and Kolleen Kepler; and 14 great-grandchildren.
