Graveside service for Mary Alma Pfaff Hambrick, 93, of Decatur will be Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, at noon at Roselawn Cemetery with David Rollins officiating and Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday morning from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Westminster Room at the Westminster Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Hambrick, who died Feb. 17, 2010, at Summerford Nursing Home, was born May 15, 1916, in Morgan County to Minnie Leeper McMillan Pfaff and Edwin Forrest Pfaff. She was an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she was a charter member of the Agape Bible Study Class. Her husband of 56 years, John Sanford Hambrick, preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Marie Hambrick Huffman, and husband Ramsey of Decatur; and two grandchildren, Dr. Allison Marie Lee of New York, N.Y., and John Richard Hambrick Lee of Birmingham. Honorary pallbearers will be the Elders of Westminster Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Education Fund at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 801 Jackson St., Decatur, Alabama 35601.
