Mary Pickerill entered this life on June 12, 1931. After a brave battle with illness, she joined the Lord, her husband, Don, her parents and siblings on January 2, 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah; two grandchildren, Briana and Adam; three great-grandchildren, Kyleigh 8, Brandon 5 and Sean 2; nieces, nephews and friends. She will be remembered for her love of life, strength in adversity and feisty spirit. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home. Funeral will be Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Hal Daigre officiating. A graveside will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.
