A Celebration of Life for Mary Rebecca Wilkes Sandusky, 96 of Decatur, will be held Tuesday, October 2 at 11AM at the Church at Stone River with Ted Amey officiating. The family will receive friends from 1030 until 11 at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sandusky was born July 20, 1922 to Stephen Wilkes and Ruth Spurgeon Wilkes. She passed away September 28, 2018.

She is preceded in death by her parents Stephen Wilkes and Ruth Spurgeon Wilkes; husband William Sandusky; 3 sisters and one brother.

She is survived by her stepdaughters Debora Sandusky and Mary White; grandchildren Emily Hulsey(Marc) and Will White(Danielle); two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; caregiver Diane Fuller; and special friends Yvette Hale and Jan Kirkpatrick.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Church at Stone River in her honor.
