Mary Elizabeth Wright, 82, a native of Jay, Florida and longtime resident of Brewton, AL stepped into her Savior's arms Thursday morning, May 30th with her family present.
She was delivered at home April 4, 1937 in Jay, Florida to Mary Inez (Hawkins) and Orbin Land.
Graduate of JHS, homemaker and former employee of Jay Hospital.
Mary Elizabeth adored and cherished her family, church family and friends. She had an unwavering faith in God, loved to serve and had many years of serving her Lord.
Mary is survived by her son, William Ronald (Vickie) Wright and their children Amber Nicole and Nicklos Tristen.; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Wright and her children Chrystal and Angel; brother, Julian Remy( Toni) Desemar, Sr and their children, Julian Remy Desemar, Jr, Lily Inez, Carrie Ann; sister, Judy Lynn Eaton (Jeff) Hill and their children, Charity Faith Huter (Graham) Brown and Randy Joseph (Lydia) Huter.
Preceded to heaven by her Mother, Mary Inez Hawkins and grandparents, Allen and Lily Alma Hawkins.
Memorials may be made to Favor House in Pace, Florida.
The family wishes to thank her doctors and nurses at Huntsville Hospital and Hospice Family Care, both of Huntsville, Alabama for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Mary and her family during her last days.
A memorial service will be held October 2019 in Jay, Florida with further details announced at a later date.
