Matthew Taylor Cross Courtland
Matthew Taylor Cross, 74, of Courtland died Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born April 11, 1936, in Lawrence County to Matthew and Pearl Cross. He served in the U.S. Army.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Elliott Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held Wednesday at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by one son, Steve Francis of Memphis, Tenn.; two daughters, Melanie Miller of Moulton and Teresa Farrar of Huntsville; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
