Funeral service for Mrs. Mavine Lentz Toth, 92, of Vinemont will be Friday, January 14, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Danville Old Time Holiness Church with Mark Hicks officiating. Burial will be in the Bellview Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Her body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Toth, who died Saturday, January 8, 2011, at her home, was born September 26, 1918, in Lawrence County to Benjamin Harrison Lentz and Gertrude McNutt Lentz. She was a member of the Danville Old Time Holiness Church and was preceded in death by her husband, John Jacob Toth; two brothers, Melvin Lentz and Garland Lindsey; and three sisters, Helen Whitaker, Ozell Lawler and Wanda Maxey.
She is survived by five sons, Harold Pitt of Vinemont, Jeff Perry of Pulaski, Tenn., Lentz Toth of Vinemont, Chase Toth of Vinemont and Brandon Pitt of Hartselle; one daughter, April Carpenter of Boaz; one brother, Gene Lentz of Decatur; one sister, Ivy Koditek of Hartselle; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brentz Pitt, Brandon Pitt, William Hill, Ben Koditek and Aaron Pitt.
