Funeral for Mavis I. Naylor, 76, of Moulton will be Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Agee officiating. Burial will be in Rutherford Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Naylor, who died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at Lawrence Medical Center in Moulton, was born Aug. 26, 1933, in Lawrence County to James Albert Borden and Ora Mae Bunnell Borden. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed working at the polls during elections. Survivors include her husband, Carl Naylor; one son, Ronnie Naylor and his wife, Tanyal; three daughters, Sandra K. Strickland and her husband, Jerry, Janet Wild and her husband, Ray, and Paula Rich and her husband, James; one brother, Nathaniel Borden; three sisters, Opal Horton, Sybil Etheredge and Ann Murphree; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
