Graveside service for Melvin K. Kilpatrick, 92, of Moulton will be Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with the Reverend Greg Standridge officiating and Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral home directing. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Kilpatrick, who died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Summerford Nursing Home, was born December 25, 1920, in Monroeville to Claude Kilpatrick and Eula Andrews Kilpatrick. He was a 50-year Mason of the Loyd O. Glenn Lodge No. 6 in Moulton and a Shriner. He served in the Coast Guard during World War II and was retired from Monsanto.

Survivors include two sons, Jim Kilpatrick and his wife, Jennifer, and Michael Kilpatrick and his wife, Belinda; seven grandsons, Sean Kilpatrick, Chris Kilpatrick, Jason Kilpatrick, Bruce Kilpatrick, Jason Jobe, Casey Hall and Micah Conville; three granddaughters, Niki Laney, Crystal Parker and Charity Moore; and 11 great-grandchildren.
