Michael David Guntharp was born on September 22, 1955 to Charles Ellis Guntharp and Alice Arjyra Roberts Guntharp.

He graduated from Decatur High School. He spent later years as a resident of Pike Road, Alabama. Lovingly known as Uncle Mike, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, listening to music, and kept his friends and family laughing.

Mr. Guntharp passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, in Montgomery, Alabama. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetary.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Alice Guntharp; two sisters Peggy Guntharp Dillworth and Rachel Guntharp; daughter Jackie Guntharp; and special friend Angela.

He is survived by sister Becky Moon (Danny)of Millbrook, Alabama; brother Charlie Guntharp (and family) of Mobile, Alabama; son Nigel Guntharp (and family) of Pike Road, Alabama; grandson Steven Hawn; special nieces Danielle (Joel, Mosby, JEB, Mary Mac), and Daisy (Bryan, Zeppelin).
