Funeral for Michael Wayne "Mike" Osborn, 48, of Danville will be Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home Chapel with Roger Aldridge and Troy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, Bankhead Forest. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Mr. Osborn, who died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at his residence, was born Oct. 25, 1959, in Illinois. He was a retired truck driver. He loved his grandchildren, fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his father, Truitt Osborn; grandparents, Ellis and Eula Osborn; and brother, Gary Osborn. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Celeste Osborn; sons, Shane, Wayne (Shauna) and Tim "Buck" Osborn, all of Madison; daughter, Myleah "Maler" Osborn of Danville; brothers, Clinton Osborn (Jackie) and Will Osborn (Kathy), both of Haleyville; grandchildren, Lucas Osborn, Leeann Osborn, Trueytt Osborn, Brittany Baker and Alanis Craig, all of Madison; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
