Michael L. Slayton Town Creek Funeral for Michael L. Slayton 59, of Town Creek will be today, November 9, 2010, at 3:30 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home Chapel with David Garacia officiating Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Blackground Cemetery. Mr. Slayton, who died Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at Civic Center Health and Rehab, was born May 16, 1951. in Lawrence County Alabama. He is survived, two sons, James Slayton and Brooks Slayton; grandchildren, Natalie, Jamie and Madison; two sisters, Pamela Missbach and Sandy Adams; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Norris and Dean Herring. He was preceded in death by his Mom, Charlene and Grandmother, Annie Mae Hughes (Mama Granny) and brother, DeWann Slayton.
