Funeral for Mike Hamm, 52, of Decatur will be Friday, June 22, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Davis officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Hamm, who died Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at Parkway Medical Center, was born March 10, 1955, in Franklin County to A.C. Hamm and Opal Hamm. He was a Baptist. He was a local musician playing the drums for 40 years throughout North Alabama and Tennessee. His grandson, Jon-Jon Netherton, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Lula June Hamm; one son, Shawn Hawkins; three daughters, Michelle Marshall, Dawn Netherton and husband, Britt, and Kerrie Hill and husband, Steve; parents; A.C. and Opal Hamm; one brother, Alan Hamm and wife, Kerry; and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
