Mike A. Hammond, 59, formally of Rogersville died Friday, April 8, 2016, at his residence in Florence.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 12, 2016, from 12-2 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the Chapel, with David and Rita Baroni officiating. Burial will be at Butler Cemetery.
Mr. Hammond was an avid Alabama Football fan, NASCAR, Go-Kart racing, and playing the slot machines in Tunica.
Mr. Hammond was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Arvella Hammond.
Mr. Hammond is survived by his wife, Stephanie Hammond; daughters, Tanya Baker (Brian Simpson) and Jessica Hammond; sons, Chris Hammond and Mathew Hammond (Eva Hill); grandsons, Kyle Baker and Kevin Baker; great-grandson, Chandler Baker; sister, Reba Moreland; sister-in-law, Kristi Perales (Jorge); brother-in-law, James Phillips (Sheila); five nieces and one nephew.
Pallbearers will be Troy Ricard, Michael Richey, Randy Kelsey, Tony Hammond, Kyle Baker, and Todd Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Myrick and Danny Olive.
