Mike Lewis, 67, of Florence died Sunday, October 28, 2018, at ECM Hospital.

A memorial service will be Friday, November 2, 2018, 3 PM at 1 ^st Presbyterian Church, Florence, with Brandon Miles officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM.  Elkins Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mike was a 1971 graduate of Coffee High School.  He loved fishing, camping, golf, splunking, and repelling, mostly anything outdoors.  He was an avid Alabama Football fan.  He retired August 1, 2018, from General Mills in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Attwood Livingston (Al) Lewis, Jr.; step-father, Bud Dunn; sister, Rebecca Lewis O'Brien.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Candace Henning Lewis; daughter, Lindsey Michele Lewis (fiancé Chris Eslick); son, Taylor Henning Lewis; step-son, Ryan Nicholas Gibson (Jessica); grandchildren, Sierra Gibson, Jacob Gibson, Colton Gibson; mother, Elaine McCarley (Dunn) Lewis; sister, Lesley Elaine Lewis; brothers, Steven Attwood Lewis and Reading Lee Lewis.
