Funeral for Mildred Ellis Heflin, 89, of Moulton will be Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, at 3:30 pm at Elliott Funeral Home in Moulton with Bro. Steve Agee officiating. Burial will be in Montgomery Cemetery. Visitation will be one hourprior to the service Mrs. Heflin passed away Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, at NHC Healthcare of Moulton. She was born Jan. 12, 1919, in the Wren community near Moulton to Emmett and Nellie Ellis. She taught school at Mount Hope and Moulton. Her husband, John Heflin, preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Martha Terry and Marynell Burnett; one son, Mike Heflin; four grandchildren, Anthony and John Burnett and Alisha and Rachel Heflin; two sons-in-law, Ralph Burnett and Willard D.
