Mildred Ezell Jones died March 19, 2010, at 95 years of age. She was a faithful member of Killen Church of Christ. Visitation will be 1-2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 21, at Elkins East Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home, with Stan Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Cora Ezell; two brothers, Hiram Ezell and John Ezell; two sisters, Jimmie Lee Ellis Butler and Lillie Belle Masonia; a niece, Judy Ezell Tays and her husband, Porter Jones.
She is survived by one stepson, Clinton Jones; one stepgranddaughter, Lisa Ruggieri; and three step great-grandchildren, all of Birmingham; one brother, Roy Ezell; one sister, Helen Patton; and nieces, Marilyn Masonia Barger, Sandra Ezell Mitchell, Susan Masonia Williams, Jane Ezell Grisham, Cathy Masonia Key, Jacqueline Patton Brown, Mary Ann Ezell Newland, Beverly Patton Hunter and Peggy Ezell White.
Pallbearers will be elders of Killen Church of Christ and her nephews-in-law. Honorary pallbearers will be Holland Greer, Ed English and Don Burgess.
