Graveside service for Mildred Littrell McClendon, 86, of Moulton will be Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Moulton Memory Gardens with the Rev. Rod Morgan officiating and Elliott Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Mrs. McClendon, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, at Lawrence Medical Center. She was a member of Moulton First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Samuel P. McClendon. Survivors include two sons, Sam McClendon Jr. and wife, Charlene, of Athens, and John McClendon and wife, Martha, of Guntersville; four daughters, Frances McCullough of Clanton, Nancy McClanahan and husband, Johnny, of Florence, Jane Conradi of Clanton, and Sara Simpson and husband, Mike, of Fyffe; grandchildren, Sherry Hankins, Mary Vavra, Samantha McClendon, Amy Mitchell, Jason McCullough, David McCullough, Marilyn Huberdeau, John McClanahan Jr., John McClendon Jr., Katie McClendon, Sam McClendon, Thompson Conradi, Allen Conradi, Heather Simpson, Emily Simpson and Tiffany Simpson; and great-grandchildren, Olivia Hankins, Natalie Hankins, Tristen Mitchell, McKenzie Mitchell, Pate McCullough, Parker McCullough, Sam McCullough, Henry Huberdeau, Cole McClanahan and Joshua McClendon.
