Mildred Tate Greene, 85, of Sheffield died Monday, September 14, 2015, at Helen Keller Hospital.
Funeral service will be Friday, September 18, 2015, at 1 PM at Elkins East Chapel, with Larry Wright and Tommy Ferguson officiating. Burial will be at Bluewater Cemetery.
Mrs. Greene is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Milford Greene; two sons, Jerry Greene and Don Greene (Linda); three grandchildren, LeAnne Minnick (Adam), David Greene, and Dayon Greene; two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Elijah Minnick.
A special thanks to Brenda Parrish for all her love and care that she has given for 18 years to Mrs. Greene.
Pallbearers will be Randy Green, David Greene, Adam Minnick, Mike Herston, Roger Bowling, and Mike Calhoun. Honorary pallbearers will be Ellard Greene, J. W. Greene, Gene Bamburg, Paul Stumpe, John Bolen, and Martin Cox.
