Milford L. Greene ,91, of Sheffield, Al went Home to be with his Lord on April 5, 2020. A private family graveside service will be held at Bluewater Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Larry Wright. There will be a memorial service held at a later date for friends and family. Elkins East Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Milford was born to Fannie and Troy Greene on June 29, 1928. He was a hardworking, wonderful Christian man. He served both in the US Air Force and the US Navy. He was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Preceding him in death was his mother and father, Fannie and Troy; brother, Earl; his loving wife of 64 years, Mildred Wilson Greene.

He is survived by sons, Jerry and Barry Don (Linda); sister, Helen Bamburg (Gene); brothers, J.W. Greene (Mickey) and Ellard Greene; sister-in-law, Arnelle Green; grandchildren, LeAnne Minnick (Adam), David and Dayon Greene; 3 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews
