Mills Thomas Methvin died peacefully in the arms of family and met the face of Jesus on May 1, 2010. His life here on earth was six short weeks but served immeasurable purpose in glorifying God. Mills drew others around him closer to His Heavenly Father. He was loved deeply and prayed for by so many. Mills is the son of Roddy and Rebekah Methvin of Florence. His proud big brothers are Tate and Jon Walt. Mills''s grandparents are Larry and Debby Wright and Rodney and Brenda Methvin, all of Florence. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Martha Aldridge, Dr. Stephen Keith, Dr. Wayne Melvin, and the nurses at ECM Hospital for their special care in bringing Mills into this world. The family also gives great appreciation to all the many people who faithfully prayed for Mills during this time. A graveside memorial will be held Tuesday, May 4 at 2:00pm at Greenview Cemetery for family and close friends. Elkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
