Miriam Currie Howard, 88, passed away July 26,2026. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 30th at 11:00 AM at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with burial to follow. Officiating will be Frank Mills.

Miriam was an avid member of Crosspoint Church of Christ and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Miriam is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Howard Taylor (Tommy) and her son William Leland Howard (Leslie Landers Howard). Her grandchildren, Caroline Taylor Gallagher (Jimmy), Frank Campbell Taylor, Leland Palmer Howard, Martha Howard Mitchell (Andrew). Her great-grandchildren Tommy Irons Gallagher and her sister Marsha Currie Terrell (Eddie).

Miriam is proceeded in death by her husband of 57 years Leland Palmer Howard Jr. And her parents Vitus and Miriam Currie.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Crosspoint Church of Christ.
